How long is a pool safety certificate valid?
2 years for non-shared pools in Queensland; 1 year for shared pools (apartments, resorts). We'll confirm which applies to your property when we book.
Do I need to be home during the inspection?
Someone does — we need access to the pool area. It's usually 30–45 minutes on site. You don't have to do anything during the inspection itself.
When do I pay?
The inspection fee is paid online when you book, so your slot is locked. The certificate fee is only paid when your pool is found compliant — you're not paying for something you haven't received.
What if my pool isn't registered with QBCC?
Very common — we see it weekly. Let us know when you book and we'll flag it. You can register it yourself before the inspection, or during — it's quick.
What if the pool doesn't pass?
You'll get a clear report of exactly what needs fixing, in plain English. When you've done the fixes, book a reinspection — once compliant, your certificate is issued same day.
How quickly can you inspect?
